I had always wanted to go to the Farne Islands, so in 2015 I finally made the long treck up north for a week of what turned out to be perfect weather and incredible light. This Batik was created after a day trip to inner Farne, where this group of Puffins posed beautifully on the rocks with the bright sparkling blue sea behind them. The design has been cropped to fit a smaller square print, but is also available in its entirety.
