Sparrows On Japonica Lampshade

This lampshade design is from a batik of 2 little sparrows perching on the delicate blossom covered branches of Japanese Quince or Japonica, its coral pink coloured blossoms contract with the browns on the birds, the background has a fine pink wax crackle, which is the typical batik look. My passion for garden shrubs and the wildlife that live within our gardens inspired this design  (also available as a giclee print)
