Oyster Catchers Coastal Scene Giclee Print Of Batik

These Oyster Catchers were a commission, it was the perfect excuse to properly observe them on another trip to North Wales. Early in the morning they busy themselves foraging amongst the rocks and seaweed to find breakfast. Their beaks are extraordinary long and red, as are their legs to match their red jewel like eyes. More crashing waves become the backdrop for this pair of oyster catchers, I used deep monstral blues and jades, with lots of contrasting white and pale blues for the breaking wave.
