Original Batiks for my Barnsdale Collection for sale

My original batiks are created on the finest quality primissima cotton, using layers of melted wax and procion dyes. Each piece has up to 50 applications of wax and dye and uses a range of different batik processes such as cracking, dipping, sgraffito, kystka and tjanting work. These are original pieces that are one offs, only digital prints can be made from them.

Delphiniums and Cardoons

Inspired by Barnsdale Gardens this original was created in June this year detailing the sagey green of the cardoon leaves and the purple blues of the delphinium flowers.

It is framed in white wood with a silver slip.

Lady Emma Hamilton Rose

Inspired by Barnsdale Gardens this original was created in May this year detailing the blooms of this exquisite David Austin rose, it's tangarine/peach coloured highly scented petals with a blue butterfly and other small pollinators.

It is framed in white wood with a gold slip with Clarity glass.

Rose Garden Delights

Inspired by Barnsdale Gardens this original was created in  this year showing the variety of flowers all growing together in harmony, daisies, Gertrude Jekyll rose, cat mint and canterbury Bells..
